J-Tech designers document existing process, verified by site investigation, and facilities for customer reference.
Documentation can include site plan, elevations, equipment layouts, structures, services, access ladders and platforms,
PFD (process flow diagram) and P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagram) drawings.

Existing Process & Facility Expansion

J-Tech designers assist their customers to develop an equipment list and PFD (Process Flow Diagram) drawing. The PFD drawing indicates existing, relocated and new equipment. J-Tech uses the PFD drawing to investigate the existing facility environment to determine the best
structural and equipment tie-points. Ease of installation, maintenance access and ensuring minimal production interruption are
central issues considered when making tie-point selections. Layout drawings are then created using the PFD drawing, tie-points,
equipment list and the existing environment. Layout drawings show the equipment, structure, building and services in 2D or 3D
models. Layout drawing complexity is determined by purpose of the project - preliminary feasibility study, capital fund allocation,
project specification, project scheduling, tendering, procurement, regulation requirements, fabrication and installation.

Field measurments can be obtained by using traditional methods or 3D Laser Scanning.
