J-Tech Design Ltd. is RB&W's integrator of choice for SPAC nut install tooling. The RB&W SPAC (Self Pierce And Clinch) Nut System offers manufacturers a highly engineered fastener technology that increases production rates, eliminates the welding process, and provides a clean, high tech appearance. All SPAC Nuts are manufactured to meet Grade 8 or PC 10 performance levels. Internally threaded, Self-piercing and Self-clinching, SPAC Nuts provide a strong permanent joint with high strength threads. SPAC Nuts eliminate the need for seperate hole making operations. The SPAC Nut system has been integrated into automated stamping operations for major automobile manufacturers around the world. It is also utilized as a weld nut alternative for high volume sheet metal applications. J-Tech offers a Standard Head for topdown applications or a Deluxe Head specifically designed to suit the top down, bottom up or horizontal cam action application.
